Do smoking and drinking cause hair loss?

You may have a link here as both smoking and drinking are somehow related to anxiety in varying degrees. And you know that a phase of anxiety does leave an effect on your hair, including hair loss. Moreover, drinking a lot may cause deficiency of vitamins, which again may lead to hair loss.Do smoking and drinking cause hair loss?
It al depends on if you catch your hair on fire while smoking or get your hair pulled out while drinking other than that i believe you can't lose hair from doing either. :}Do smoking and drinking cause hair loss?
No.

Reasons for hair loss are more commonly from hormones, diet, certain cancer treatments, super high fevers, and sticking your head in the oven.

Smoking causes your hair to stink. Especially if you have long hair. Drinking causes poor judgement and sometimes loss of job, wife, car, etc.
BABES SMOKING AND DRINKING CAUSE CANCER AND LIVER DAMAGE NOT HAIR LOSS .THAT CAN BE DUE TO ALOT OF STRESS DEPRESSION,WORRING LACK OF VITAMINS IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY.I WAS EXPERIENCING HAIR LOSS AND STARTED TO USE 1000MG VITAMIN E AND THE HIGEST DOSAGE OF CALCIUM TRIMMING YOU HAIR CAN HELP TO WHEN YOU KNOW THERE IS FULL MOON ALWAYS MASSAGE SCALP AND DONT DONT USE HOT WATER ON YOUR HAIR THE PORES OPEN AN HAIR FALLS OUT
If that's the bulk of your diet, that will happen. Smoking %26amp; drinking aren't in and of themselves to blame, it would be a lack of nutrients.

Another, less savory, option would be that you're getting older, and that's just what happens!

You might want to try some natural supplements, like fish oil or blue-green algae, to help stem the hair loss.
