I went on a diet 6 months ago and I noticed a sore scalp and a lot of hair coming out in my brush about 3 months ago. At first I didn't think anything of it, but I am starting to get scared of my hair getting to thin. I asked around and talked to a few people and most people tell me that it is the lack of oil in my diet. I have been taking salmon fish oil capsules for about a week now and also adding extra virgin olive oil in my salads and I have been feeling really blotted. I would except the blotting if my hair stopped coming out. I also have been rubbing aloe vera gel on my hair, recommended by a hairdresser who's friend went through the same thing. I am eating good otherwise, I am just wondering if there is other advice, or if you have run into the same thing or know someone who has. I made an appointment with my doctor to see a specialist, but it usually takes time to get in to see one, so I thought I would ask yahoo answers from people who may have been through the same thing. Thank You.I think Dieting and cutting out oil is causing me to have a sore scalp and hair loss?
why did you diet and how,cos in most cases a lot of people starve them selves and then put the blame on (DIET) dieting is about eating a balance diet with all the nutrients and vitamins we need.the loss of your hair is caused by lack of nutrients and certain vitamins in your boby.you should consider this very serious as youll be going to see a doctor make sure you explain evrything to him especialy what you were eating during your diet.do not over worry cos you going to be okey
GOOD LUCK.I think Dieting and cutting out oil is causing me to have a sore scalp and hair loss?
You need more protein in your diet , add more chicken and give it 4 weeks and you will see the difference. Your hair will start to come back. You just shocked your system.
