Sleep plays an important role in allowing the body and hair to repair and regenerate. But in the life one in four of us suffer from some form or sleep problem!

Alterations in the sleep-wake cycle have been shown to affect the body systems including immune function, hormone secretion, physical and mental/emotional stamina. Shift work or permanent night duty disrupts the body's circadian rhythms, thought to be a contributing factor in the development of chronic conditions such as peptic ulcers of the stomach.

The hair is very sensitive to changes within the body, and hair loss is nearly always the consequence of an internal disturbance. Autoimmune problems such as hair loss and psoriasis are known to be exacerbated by stress; Daytime fatigue and emotional distress are the most commonly reported symptoms of sleep deprivation, As time goes by, it will evolved into the culprits of your hair loss.

It is worth noting that : The snore also is the reason of your hair loss. Snore will cause apnea, apnea batters blood capillaries that supply nutrients and oxygen to hair follicles. If scalp capillaries become damaged, then so do you chances of healthy hair growth. If you are living with apnea then your scalp isn't only suffering indirect oxygen starvation through damaged capillaries but also directly apnea breathlessness can last anywhere from a few seconds to over a minute, and remember this can happen hundreds of times through course of a nights sleep.

Another very harmful disorder caused by sleep apnea is high blood pressure. The incidence of high blood pressure very slowly damages the blood vessels of brain, kidney, heart and other internal organs of the body. As due to the occurrence of high blood pressure the blood capillaries supplying food and oxygen to the hair follicles get destroyed, lack of sleep hair loss also occurs as its consequence.
