Does Cancer cause hair loss?

I know the treatment for Cancer does, but I was wondering if the disease itself can cause hair loss (all over body).Does Cancer cause hair loss?
Cancer doesnt cause hair loss. Its the Chemotherepy which is used to cure the Cancer casue the hair loss. For side effects of Chemotherapy read here http://www.medicinenet.com/chemotherapy/Does Cancer cause hair loss?
No it doesn't. Hair loss of that kind is alopecia - this is a useful site that we used when a family member had alopecia:

http://www.alopeciaonline.org.uk/index2.

Cancer treatments don't necessarily cause hair loss; many but by no means all chemotherapy regimes cause hair loss, including loss of body hair; some just cause hair thinning, some don't cause any hair loss.

Radiotherapy/radiation is a localised treatment doesn't cause hair loss unless it is targetted at a part of the body that has hair.
no you are thinking of alopecia which causes hair loss on the body, it's chemotherapy which causes it with cancer
Not really. alopesia is the only desease I know of that causes total body hair loss.
